The Hurling Season is once again fast approaching. This years event will be held on October 12th. 2003 at the Busti Firemans Grounds in Busti NY. As in the past we are expecting hurlers from around the country as well as a great assortment of crafters, and great carnival-like cuisine served by the Busti Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

This years event as before is being coordinated by the Busti Fire Department Inc. and several other local organizations.

to take the Chief James Boswell Pumpkin
Hurling Trophy in 1997, 1998 and 2001.

Poor & Hungry
from Ellendale "SWAMP" Delaware
owned and operated by
Wayne and Brenda Sennet
won the Chief James Boswell Pumpkin
Hurling Trophy in 1999 and 2000.
Brenda fired the winning shot in the
2000 competition making her
the first woman to win a sanctioned event.
